Hotel Vestibul is located in the heart of the Diocletians palace between the emperor’s chambers and the emperor’s square „Peristile“, a place which used to be reserved only for the gods. The hotel was created by merging three palaces from three different periods: Romanic, Gothic and Renaissance with the wall elements of the Diocietian palace, and the original niches from Roman time. This combination optimally displays the physical presence of the eras which past us by, where every stone has a story to tell.

The Hotel is a combination between the modern and the antique, where the modern design of the interior is interwoven with the original walls of the Roman time. Strictness of the ambiance is broken down by the natural light through the large glass roof of the lobby, and by the pleasant evening lighting. All the furniture is hand made and remarkably crafted.

Two rooms are superior single type with a queen size bed and a bathroom with shower tub and a toilet. Three rooms are superior double type with queen bed and two of them are with bath tub, one with shower tub in the bathroom. All rooms are equipped with an air conditioning, wireless internet access, direct telephone line, CD, LCD, TV with cable channels, mini bar and writing desk.

There is one Junior Suite with a king size bed, an armchair set, and air conditioning with its own regulation controls. Other features include bathtub, WC, modern cable, direct telephone line, LCD, TV with cable channels, wireless internet connection and mini bar.

Luxury Suite include queen size bed located on a gallery and a living room sofa set with an extra bed inside.

Café bar and a restaurant in one is a surprise of its own. Its modern design of supreme comfort coupled with a fine selection of food and wines from our own wine cellar is a combination which is hard to resist.

Tucked into Split`s landmark luxury boutique hotel where Renaissance, pharmacy Baroque, view and Gothic architecture intertwine, Restaurant MAGNUS is a culinary tribute to Hotel Vestibul Palace`s heritage, merging local flavour with avant-garde flair.
To compliment the flavors of Split`s sun-kissed terroir, the wine list focuses on regional and national favourites of autochthonous varieties.

The restaurant is named after Magnus Severus who after the fall of Salona organized return of residents who fled to the islands and brought them back to the Palace post Emperor Diocletian. That was the beginning of a medieval Split… Restaurant MAGNUS uses organic ingredients sourced from Dalmatia´s pristine islands and vast hinterland from where Split´s forefathers originated.

It is enough to walk through the original Vestibul building and you will be surrounded by unique city monuments. To make your experience complete we can organize cultural events or take you to the ancient city of Salona, which has a former capital of Roman Dalmatia region.

You can get to know the Mediterranean as its once was in just a few yours of a boat trip if you visit the Central Dalmatian Islands which are popular tourist destinations.
