All Kantipur Temple House rooms are furnished with beautiful traditional handmade furniture. They are eco-friendly, elegant and comfortable. They are two room types, Deluxe and Standard.
The interior design of our rooms incorporates traditional handicrafts, wooden floors and handspun cotton bedspreads. Furnished and decorated with local handmade elements render elegance and luxury, with an intimate and warm atmosphere of yesteryear.

Standard room
Standard rooms are furnished with twin beds and provide views of either the garden or the courtyard. These rooms are well-lit and have wooden floors. Rooms are all en-suite with standing showers and solar hot water. *

Deluxe room
Deluxe rooms are spacious and are available in either a queen or twin bed arrangements. These rooms have window seats that overlook the interior courtyard giving an atmosphere reminiscent of the old palaces during the Malla reign. Rooms are equipped with private bathrooms with standing showers.

Executive room
Executive rooms are spacious with a queen bed and a single bed making it ideal for families. The rooms come with a mini kitchenette, which includes microwave, kettle, and minifridge for longer stay visitors. Window seats provide views that overlook the peaceful interior courtyard. We believe in the preservation and conservation of the rich cultural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley. Kantipur Temple House is built in the native Newari architecture of Kathmandu with its intricate carved windows and eaves. All the stone and wood carvings at our hotel are made especially for our building, to support and ensure the continuation of these traditional local skills. Most of the materials for interior décor used in the hotel are also locally sourced and help support livelihoods of marginalized communities throughout Nepal. We also have a small shop space inside the Hiti café where we store locally and ethically produced handicrafts and gifts.
